[SHM-CD] by Masayoshi Takanaka is a live album reissued as part of the Universal Fusion Breeze series, which revives classic J-FUSION masterpieces originally released on the Kitty and Polydor labels, predecessors of today's Universal Music, presenting 16 essential titles from Takanaka's Kitty-era catalog in SHM-CD format with first-time digital remastering, and this album captures performances from the "Christmas Super Live" concerts held on December 23 and 24, 1979, showcasing the energetic and melodic guitar work of one of Japan's most iconic guitarists, includes eight tracks featuring a standout live rendition of the Sadistic Mika Band classic "Kurofune, " was originally released in 1980, and is presented here with a 2013 latest digital remaster that enhances the clarity and impact of this celebrated live recording.
