When Eyelid Movies was first released in 2010, Josh Carter and Sarah Barthel were a little-known duo from upstate New York. But, after a year of touring and the album's breakout hit "When I'm Small,"the band became one of the marquee names of the electronic inspired indie-rock movement of the 2010's.
