Hand painted by artist SM Sanz

All proceeds to benefit local organizations: Arts Mission Oak Cliff, Friends of the Oak Cliff Cultural Center, and Spin The Spectrum

This piece is a homage of western folk art and a celebration of rodeo culture from the perspective of people of color, who are too often, left out out of traditional depictions of the American West. The artist seeks to challenge the conventional image of a cowgirl and cowboy by pointing to the actual diversity of people who participate in this culture.
